Different Types of Cleanses explained, by Markus Rothkranz
Canadian lifestyle guru and motivational speaker, Marcus Rothkranz, has created a video that explains the different kinds of fasting that one can do. In the video, Mr. Rothkranz first describes the most popular and effective kind of fasting. This is the water fast. In the water fast, you just drink water and nothing else. There is no juice, supplements or any solids consumed. This is the most effective and most cleansing kind of fast you can do.
Next, Marcus Rothkranz explains what a green juice fast is. The green juice fast is also deeply cleansing and is perfect for someone who is currently sick. It involves drinking only green vegetable juices. You take greens like celery, green kale, green cabbage, collard greens, parsley, cilantro, lettuce and any other green vegetable you can find and juice them. You then drink the juice throughout the day. No fruits should be consumed during this fast. This will disrupt the cleansing power of the green vegetable fast. Markus does mention that a green apple and some other green fruits may be okay. Be sure to check if you can consume them during the fast you are on.
Green smoothies can also be consumed as part of a cleansing regimen. You start off with a green vegetable base created from greens like cabbage, celery and lettuce. In this type of cleanse, you can add fruits however. So feel free to drop in apples, peaches, apricots, pears and any other sweet fruits that you may crave. The base should still be mostly green vegetables with some fruit thrown in. You can blend the green vegetables and fruit together. Keep in mind that now that you have added fiber to you diet, the cleansing action will be reduced but still felt. This kind of cleanse is perfect for somebody who is just starting out and wants to try a mild cleanse.
For somebody wanting to cleanse their body of parasites, Marcus Rothkranz says that you can take herbs to fight parasites during any cleanse. It does not matter if you are doing a water fast, a green juice fast or a smoothie fast. For best results, Marcus says to take any herbs at least half an hour before you eat. This will ensure the maximum effect from the herb against the parasite.

The truth is that sedentary lifestyles are making us sick, and we need to do something to make sure that we all get the right amount of movement into our lives, and this begins at home.
If you work from home, chances are you go from bed to toilet to desk to chair to bar stool to chair and back to bed. Maybe you don’t get enough exercise during the day, and maybe you don’t ever take a break from your desk activities to walk or do some exercises throughout the day. But you can change that.
Markus suggests taking a break from your desk to do squats every half hour, and after work, instead of bellying up to the bar, why not take a walk or go for a run with your dog or a friend? And you can always act to do more movement in your life, whether it’s cleaning, gardening, or doing things that require intense walking, such as hiking.

Amazing Raw Vegan Pancake Recipe
In this tutorial video, we are taught how to make delicious raw vegan pancakes that are yummy as well as very healthy for you. The main ingredients that are used in this recipe are bananas and flaxseed fruit cracker or flaxseeds. Flaxseed crackers however tend to give more flavor to the recipe. Soaking these crackers in orange juice and drizzling them with chocolate makes them really delicious. The flavored flaxseed crackers can be blended in a blender to turn them into a fine flaxseed powder that will add extra flavor to the pancakes. Be sure to add a cup of coconut, one banana, some markus sweetener, nut milk, vanilla extract, as well as the ground up flaxseed crackers to the blender. Blend all the ingredients well together, until smooth, to make the creamy pancake batter. Add some finely chopped walnuts if desired to the batter and stir. There is no need to blend the walnuts, only stir them into the batter. Any frozen fruit, like blueberries, can be added in and stirred, not blended in, as well. Pile the batter high into little circles onto some parchment paper that is on top of a tray and pop them into the dehydrator for a few hours on 120 degrees. Do not mind the brown color of the pancake. This brown color comes from the banana that turns brown once it is cooked. Put a little dollop of maple syrup, vegan cream, strawberries and pomegranate seeds on top to decorate it. You can also decorate the plate with mint and cocoa nibs too to make it look beautiful and to give it some extra flavor. These raw vegan pancakes taste and look great, and are really healthy for you.
